Welcome to FAN lab at HKUST

 
  Our research effort focuses on engineering novel nanostructures with functional materials, for technological applications including energy conversion, electronics and sensors, etc. The research being performed in our lab is highly interdisciplinary involving electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, chemistry and physics. Students and postdocs with strong motivation for cutting-edge research on nanotechnology are welcome to join us.

-Jan. 15, 2021, Our work "A biomimetic eye with a hemispherical perovskite nanowire array retina" is selected into "2020 Top 10 Innovation News in Hong Kong" (2020香港十大创科新闻).

-Sept. 16, 2020, Welcome to Andrea, Andrew, Edward, Faye, Samantha and Jonathan to join our group as new PhD and MPhil students.

-Sept. 9, 2020, Congratulations to Dr. Leilei (Airan) Gu for accepting Associate Professor position offer from Shanghai Jiaotong University (上海交通大学), China. He will start in his new position by the end of October, 2020.
